Maximal Leo Prime is a modern recreation of the Beast Wars II Lio Convoy toy from 1998.
He has most of the original gimmicks, like the flip-out mane missiles, the opening chest matrix and the deployable claws but lack the rotating mane gimmick of the original.
The blaster hidden in the mane are compatible with fire blast effects to recreate the mane thrusters from the anime. You can also place 2 blasters on the leg for the leg thrusters too!
He has an upcoming repaint in the form of Nemesis Leo Prime a.k.a. Copy Convoy.
Accessories: 4 mini blasters (2 long, 2 short ones). The 2 short ones store inside the back panel in Beast mode. This is undocumented on the instructions.
